Let the countdown begin! Employ the PACK: A Conference for Emerging Professionals is just a few days away. Happening Saturday (January 25th), this half day conference will feature a keynote speaker, breakout sessions and an alumni networking panel designed to provide juniors, seniors, graduate students and young alumni dynamic solutions to launching their careers.
We are excited to have James Marshall Reilly serving as our opening keynote speaker. James Marshall Reilly is an entrepreneur, consultant, journalist, public speaker, and the founder of The GUILD Agency Speakers Bureau & Intellectual Talent Management, Inc., a smart-content media firm headquartered in New York City. He is the author of Shake the World: It’s Not About Finding a Job, It’s About Creating a Life (Penguin/Portfolio, January, 2012). His work is focused on the branding and marketing of cutting-edge thinkers and connecting them with audiences worldwide, exclusively representing and advising numerous world-class business icons, entrepreneurs, best-selling authors, philanthropists, and global-thought leaders.
He has lectured at corporations, universities, and conferences in North America and Europe, including Microsoft, Syngenta, M.I.T., and Chicago Ideas Week. In 2011 Reilly was honored at the White House as one of the top 100 entrepreneurs in the United States age 30 or under. After the initial success of Shake The World’s hardcover release last year, Penguin now is set to release the paperback edition in late August of 2013, with a new foreword by Steven Kotler, co-author of the New York Times best-seller Abundance.
Since Shake The World’s release, James Marshall Reilly has built an internationally recognized brand, The GUILD Agency, and advises several other companies. Shake The World is now being used as a “common read” at several colleges and universities across the U.S. and worldwide, and has been translated into multiple languages, including Korean and Chinese.
