With finals right around the corner, it’s important to nourish your body in order to stay fueled up during your exams. While filling up on coffee, energy drinks, and junk food seems like the way to go, eating ‘brain foods’ will help you stay focused and keep you from feeling exhausted. Make sure to stock up your kitchen with these essentials, to help you get through exam week:
- Antioxidant packed foods like fruits and vegetables like berries, citrus fruit, and peppers;
- Lean protein such as meat, poultry, fish and legumes;
- Complex Carbs, like brown rice and oatmeal;
- And good fats, which can be found in nuts, seeds, avocados, and olives.
