Recipes From Home has become one of our favorite traditions. Every year students and families share recipes from the heart. This year was no different, with a total of forty entries it was hard to narrow it down to the top three.

Now it’s your turn Loyola to pick the 2018 winner! This recipe will be featured during our Family Weekend Jazz Brunch, and the winning family will win a flight and hotel accommodations for two in New Orleans to join us and their student!

Voting is easy, comment below by the end of the day Friday, September 14th to share what recipe you think should win.

1. Ian Chester’s Poulet Dijonaise – This stand out dish features a stuffed chicken breast wtih garlic, onion, dijon mustard made golden brown with puff pastry. According to Lynn, Ian’s mom, this is his absolute favorite dish at home.

2. Eliza Bryon’s Muffellata Fritta – This original recipe is twist on a New Orleans classic. “Inspired by Central Grocery’s famous muffaletta sandwich. I thought to myself, how can I translate those great flavors into another dish? It occurred to me that they’d be great in an egg dish. Eliza loves this invention! It’s great for any meal.”

3. Meredith Muller’s Rosemary Pork Tenderloin – “One of my kids favorites- super easy but taste like you spent all day in the kitchen.” This savory entree features classic flavors with a fun sweet twist that brings the pork lin to a completely different level.
