Yes, the IQEE blog has been silent for a little while now. I hope everyone’s holidays went well and that you’re all settling into 2011. One of my biggest professional resolutions is to get back to blogging regularly to keep everyone up to date with what’s going on in education in New Orleans. Towards that end, here’s a quick announcement:
Next Thursday, January 27, Education Career Pathways New Orleans is holding their third annual panel on education careers in the Crescent City. This is a good opportunity for anyone interested in getting into the education field to come and learn more about working in education here in New Orleans. The panel is at 6 pm at Green Charter School, 2319 Valence Street (at South Liberty Street), followed by breakout sessions with different career leaders and “cocktails and conversations.” You can RSVP here.
This event will be especially helpful for our Juniors and Seniors here at Loyola, as this is time you need to start really thinking about life after commencement. A lot of good schools and organizations are taking part in the event, so go check it out! I’ve posted the flyer for the event after the jump.
