Equal Justice Works is currently accepting applications for its 2019 Fellowship program that helps organizations pilot new initiatives with talented new lawyers.
General Information about 2019 Equal Justice Works Fellowships
The Equal Justice Works Fellowships Program provides financial and other forms of support to lawyers working on innovative legal projects throughout the U.S. The two-year Fellowships offer host organizations up to $50,000 annually for the Fellow’s salary; generous loan repayment assistance; a national training and leadership development program; and other forms of support during the Fellowship term. Fellowship applications are the result of close collaboration between your organization and the Fellowship candidate(s) with whom you chose to apply. The application deadline is September 21, 2018, 11:59 p.m. ET. All applications will be judged according to the quality of the proposed project, the host organization, and the individual candidate. Read more and learn how to apply online. Please also consult our comprehensive application guide for an overview of the program’s costs and benefits, as well as tips for competitive applications.
We encourage you to register for an upcoming webinar about application tips and strategies where you can ask questions of our staff. Register here to join us September 5 from 3-4pm ET, or to receive a recording and slides after the webinar has concluded.
