Water Protector Legal Collective
The Water Protector Legal Collective is a non-profit organization providing legal support,
advocacy, and knowledge sharing for Indigenous centered and guided environmental and
climate justice movements.
The Executive Director will have overall responsibility for the administrative, fiscal and
programmatic health and effectiveness of the organization, ensuring that WPLC raises the funds needed to operate effectively, managing WPLC’s resources soundly, and building and maintaining WPLC’s overall public image and key relationships. The E.D. provides leadership in the organization and works collaboratively with the WPLC Board, staff, and volunteers to provide legal support, education, defense, offense and advocacy for water and land protectors in criminal, civil rights, and international human rights fora.
