The Judicial Administrator’s Office of the Louisiana Supreme Court seeks a Judicial Program Manager to oversee and administer the Division of Children and Families’ statewide Families In Need of Services-Assistance Program. This position requires the ability to establish goals and objectives, implementation of guidelines, procedures, policies, forms and other necessary mechanisms to ensure the effectiveness and success of the Families In Need of Services-Assistance Program statewide. Duties include statewide oversight and administration, programmatic and fiscal monitoring, management of program budget, and evaluating and providing statewide training for Families In Need of Services program staff.  monitoring, evaluating and providing training for Families In Need of Services program staff statewide. This position involves extensive contact with members of the judiciary and various public service and community agencies across the state.  Travel is required.

The ideal candidate must have several years of experience working within the juvenile justice system with the at-risk-youth population.  Interested candidates must have either a juris doctor degree or a master’s degree in political or social science, criminal justice, or public administration or other related field of study plus five years of program development and management experience; will also consider candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any of the afore-mentioned disciplines plus seven plus years of program development and management experience. Technical Program Assistant
Judicial Administrator’s Office–Louisiana Supreme Court

The Judicial Administrator’s Office of the Louisiana Supreme Court seeks a Technical Program Assistant to provide specialized administrative, coordinative and technical support to the Division of Children and Families FINS-AP and CASA-AP programs.  May assist other program areas as needed.  Duties include assisting with planning, organizing and the execution of programs, conferences and events, as well as responsibility for items related to programmatic work, financial recordkeeping/reporting for grants, analyzing program data and database maintenance. This position assists with the design, production and distribution of program schedules, handouts, newsletters and other materials, web design, as well as the logistical aspects (refreshments, meals, seating, registration, transportation, accommodation, etc.) for large programmatic events.  Travel may be required.

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and must be able to multi-task on projects efficiently; must possess excellent writing and organizational skills with a high proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.   Must have six years of progressively responsible administrative support experience, preferably in marketing, public relations, training, programmatic, data analysis, advertising or other related environment. Pre-employment testing may be administered.  Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits and paid parking.
