The Monroe Hall project is proceeding on schedule.  The concrete pours are nearing completion and work on the building sheathing is underway.  The new elevator system is scheduled for delivery in mid-February and plans call for it to be operational in early summer.

During the Mardi Gras break, underground utility work will take place at the southwest entrance to Monroe Hall near the Communications and Music complex.  During the break, the exit will remain open but will be for emergency exiting only. The exterior stair near this exit will also remain open for normal use and the faculty after hours entrance will be moved to the entrance near Central Receiving during the break.  Please try to avoid this area until the work is completed.  The entrance will be returned to normal service before classes resume after the Mardi Gras break.
