Loyola University of New Orleans has become a second home to me and I have come to love this institution just as much as my high school. I feel I have definitely been given a five-star experience at Loyola.

My story is interesting because I was a transfer student and came to Loyola as a senior. I can tell you I have truly had a full experience as any four-year student would have and you are so lucky to come in as a freshman because if your experience was anything like mine, I know you are going to have four amazing years of life to talk to your children and grandchildren about.

I joined the University Programming Board; Theta Phi Alpha, a social sorority; The Maroon, the campus’ newspaper; Loyola Ambassadors; the Loyola Bloggers; and so much more. There are so many extracurricular activities that you can get involved in to match your specific taste and personality.

There is so much potential for you at Loyola, and the staff brings it out of you. The activities on campus are endless and there is always something going on, somewhere for you to do.

The academic environment is mind stimulating. In all of your classes the professors will intrigue you to be a better person and teach you things that are not just in a book.

I have gained so much knowledge in the little time that I have been here and truly can say I walked out of Loyola with an education and not just a degree.

I encourage you to come take a campus tour, sit in a class, and hangout in the Danna Student Center to really get the feel for what Loyola is like. Loyola is small enough to know you. but big enough to serve you.
