Hello Everyone!! As I’m sure you’ve figured out, college is about building relationships. Whether they be friendships, romantic relationships or networking relationships, all of them are important and essential to success during and after college.

I’ve met some of the most amazing women since I’ve been at Loyola (sorry guys you haven’t had that big of an impact on me). Even if all of the women I’ve met weren’t that amazing, I still learned valuable life lessons that I will remember for the rest of my life and use in future relationships. From my freshman roommate to some of the greatest freshmen that ever passed through Loyola that I met last year, I’ve been blessed to meet some great people. So, my advice this week is to get out there and make some friends (don’t forget about joining organizations as well). You’ll never believe how much people can make a difference in everyday life if you don’t know anyone :-) So, yea, have fun socializing! Oh, and quality over quantity is essential in this!!

“True friendship is like sound health; the value of it is seldom known until it be lost.” – Charles Caleb Colton
